This is the Home page for school network administrators (Renaissance Place administrators) and school network staff. At the top of the page, you will see your name.

Products
Select a product name to see its links.
Renaissance-U
If you have a Renaissance-U icon, you can select it to access professional development through self-paced online tutorials and activities.
Dashboards and Reporting
These include the Reading and Maths Dashboards (if available), the Summary Dashboard and Consolidated Reports. Select one to see the links. The Reading Dashboard shows your students' progress in reading based on Star Reading and Accelerated Reader data. The Maths Dashboard shows student progress based on Star Maths data. The Summary Dashboard and Consolidated Reports give you information about student performance across many Renaissance Learning products.

Users
Click this link to work with personnel information and student information and to clear locks for both personnel and student accounts.
Courses and Classes
Click this link to work with course and class information. You can add courses, edit courses, delete courses, add classes for a course, edit classes, delete classes, copy classes from the previous school year, add or remove students for a class and add or remove team teachers for a class. Courses remain in the database from year to year. Classes (with their assigned teachers and enrolled students) are linked to specific school years and marking periods.
School Years
Click this link to:
- add school years
- change (edit) school years
- delete school years
- add, edit or delete marking periods
- copy marking periods from the previous year
- add, edit or delete non-teaching days
- copy non-teaching days from the previous year
- work in a different school year
School Network and Schools
School network administrators can click this link to edit the information about your school network. Both school network administrators and school network staff members can click this link to view a list of schools and edit a school's information.
Product Administration
School network administrators click this link to view a list of registered products and view the student capacity limits for each product. School network administrators can also download client software for installation on school network computers, change the Data Editing Restrictions preference, define user rights or capabilities, restrict student access to the software, set login attempts allowed and manage live chat support.
School network staff can click this link to view user capabilities.
Renaissance Home Connect
School network administrators can select Renaissance Home Connect to generate Informational Letters to send home with students or to get a report on usage of Renaissance Home Connect.
If Renaissance Home Connect is available for your school network or school, students can log in from home to view their progress for Accelerated Reader and Accelerated Maths Live. For Accelerated Reader, they can also view books read. For Accelerated Maths Live, they can complete practice assignments from home (but not tests).
Alerts
When there is new information about your software, or if it needs administrative attention (for example, a subscription renewal), alerts will be posted in the bottom-left section of the page. There are three types of alerts:
General product information alerts: Inform you of new product features or other changes to your software. For example, if the server hosting Renaissance Place for you will be undergoing maintenance, you would be notified in an alert.
Action necessary: You must take specific action in the software. For example, if your product subscription is going to expire in the next 30-90 days, this type of alert will remind you to renew it.
Immediate attention: You must take immediate action. For example, if the terms of the Renaissance Place Licence Agreement change, you will need to agree to the new terms before you can use the software.
Alerts will have whatever links are necessary for you to take action, view more information, or dismiss the alert. Licence agreement alerts and subscription alerts require special attention:
- Licence agreement alerts: School network and school administrators will be presented with a notice that they must view and accept the terms of the Renaissance Place Licence Agreement. They will see a link to view the licence; on the licence page, they can choose to accept or not accept the agreement. If an administrator-level user does not accept the agreement within 30 days after the alert first appears, the alert will appear on the Home pages for school network staff, school staff and teachers. At least one user per site must agree to the licence agreement.
- Subscription alerts: When 90 days remain before your subscription runs out, an alert appears to remind you. This alert can be dismissed, but it will reappear when the subscription is down to 60 days, then 30 days, then 15. During this time frame, if your subscription is renewed, Renaissance Learning will enter the new subscription code, and this alert will not reappear until 90 days before the end date of the new code (next year).
Did You Know Articles
These articles provide information about product functions and resources to help you use the software more effectively. The software will automatically cycle from one topic to the next each time the Home page is refreshed. You can also use the arrows to move through the topics at your own pace, or click View All to go to a new page that lists all the current topics. For each topic, you can click Learn more to get more in-depth information about that feature.
Header Links and Buttons
In the dark grey bar at the top of the page, you will see your name and buttons as shown below.
When you select your name, you can choose to log out; if you have more than one role in the software (such as teacher and school administrator), you can also select Change Role and choose a different role or a different school.
When you select the help button as shown below, you can choose whether to see help for the software or a list of available manuals.
To open a chat with a Renaissance Learning representative, click the icon. If this link shows that chat support is unavailable (), this means no representatives are available to chat right now; refresh your browser to see if it becomes available. School network (RP) administrators can set a preference to make chat available from the Home page only or to turn this option off.
To go back to this Home page at any time, select the Home icon.
